Bcash is Registered at Greek Security Exchange Committee

In December 2020, the Greek Security Exchange Committee announced the creation of a new registry for “service providers for transactions between virtual and fiat currencies and service providers for digital wallets”.

This practically means that every company that want to have a retail presence in Greece in the crypto world, should be registered in this register so they could be controlled from the regulatory authorities. This move comes after new European direction AMLD5 (Anti-Money Laundering Directive 5), which targets actions towards anti-money laundering.

The first decision announced at 31 March 2021 and Bcash is of the first crypto service providers in Greece, showing that the framework is changing in the regulatory framework even at Greece.
