Netherlands Warns About Cryptos

The Dutch Securities and Exchange Commission has issued a notice - warning investors about pump-and-dump schemes on many crypto platforms.

This move, we believe, is an advertisement for the upcoming implementation of MiCA, the EU legislative framework, and the potential it will have in practice.

The law will take effect from December 30, 2024 and is expected to greatly tighten the framework around which crypto providers will operate.

The aim is to greatly reduce fraud in the field of cryptos as well as pump-and-dump schemes, which will now be prosecuted through MiCA.

Of course, there are analysts who say and write that MiCA will force many Web 3.0 companies to leave Europe and go to the Middle East.

With the new year, we'll see what happens…….
