Environmental, Climate and Sustainability Disclosure

Disclosure of Environmental, Climate and Other Sustainability Indicators
Disclosure pursuant to Article 66(5) of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/422

BCASH Α.Ε.
Publication date: 20 April 2026
Date of last review / update: 20 April 2026
Reference period: 1 January 2025 – 31 December 2025

1. Purpose of the Disclosure

This disclosure sets out the environmental, climate and other sustainability information that BCASH S.A. makes publicly available in relation to the crypto-assets for which it provides crypto-asset services, pursuant to Article 66(5) of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCA) and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/422.

Its purpose is to provide clear, transparent and comparable information regarding the main adverse climate impacts and other adverse environmental impacts of the consensus mechanisms used for the relevant crypto-assets.

2. Scope

BCASH S.A. currently provides crypto-asset services in relation to the following crypto-assets:

  • Bitcoin (BTC)
  • Ethereum (ETH)
  • Litecoin (LTC)
  • XRP
  • USD Coin on Ethereum (USDC)
  • TRON (TRX)

As of the date of this disclosure, the relevant services are provided through the company’s crypto ATM network.

In the event of the addition or removal of supported crypto-assets or a material change in the scope of the relevant services, this disclosure will be updated without undue delay.

3. Role of BCASH S.A.

BCASH S.A. acts exclusively as a crypto-asset service provider (CASP) in relation to the crypto-assets covered by this disclosure.

BCASH S.A.:

  • does not operate blockchain validation infrastructure,
  • does not carry out mining activities,
  • does not act as a validator,
  • and does not engage in staking on its own account in relation to the services covered by this disclosure.

Accordingly, the environmental, climate and other environmental impacts described in this disclosure arise from the underlying blockchain networks and their consensus mechanisms, and not from any blockchain infrastructure operated or controlled by BCASH S.A.

4. Mandatory Information Table

The mandatory information referred to in Article 5(1) of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/422 is set out in Table 2 of the Annex

5. Supplementary Indicators Table

The supplementary information referred to in Article 5(2) of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/422 is set out in Table 3 of the Annex, for the supported crypto-assets in respect of which the relevant annual energy consumption threshold is met.

6. Sources and Methodologies

6.1 General Approach

The information contained in this disclosure is based on external sources, publicly available technical documentation, sustainability-related disclosures and, where required, documented best-effort estimates compiled in accordance with Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/422.

Due to the decentralised nature of the relevant blockchain networks, BCASH S.A. does not generate primary environmental data for those networks and does not control the infrastructure used to validate, process or record transactions on them.

6.2 External Data Sources

The information included in Table 2 and Table 3 is based, as applicable, on:

  • publicly available disclosures relating to the relevant crypto-assets or the corresponding blockchain networks,
  • publicly available technical and environmental documentation,
  • external datasets and estimates from third-party data providers,
  • and internal assessment of the relevance of the above information to the crypto-assets supported by BCASH S.A.

The main external sources used for the purposes of this disclosure are the following:

Where relevant information is drawn from a public disclosure, white paper or equivalent source of a third-party issuer or provider, the relevant source and reference details are identified in the corresponding field of the tables.

6.3 Use of Estimates

Where the relevant climate or other environmental indicators were not directly available in the form of disclosed data, estimates were used.

In such cases:

  • it is indicated that estimates have been used and it is clearly stated which indicators are based on them,
  • the methodology used is identified,
  • the main assumptions underlying the estimates are set out,
  • and any material methodological limitation is noted.

The estimated values disclosed by BCASH S.A. do not constitute primary measurements carried out by the company itself.

6.4 Methodological Assumptions

The methodologies used for the relevant indicators aim to be systematic, objective and verifiable, taking into account the nature of the available external information.

As applicable, the methodology includes:

  • use of annual network-level energy consumption data,
  • attribution of environmental metrics to the relevant supported crypto-asset and network,
  • a network-centric approach for crypto-assets existing on more than one network,
  • and reasonable assumptions where data is incomplete, not publicly disclosed or not available in a consistent manner.

For USDC, this disclosure relates exclusively to USDC on Ethereum, which is the network currently supported by BCASH S.A. for the purposes of this disclosure.

6.5 Information Not Included

Where information relating to sources and methodologies is not included, this is because such information was not available, was not relevant to the specific supported crypto-asset, or could not be determined with sufficient reliability based on the data available to BCASH S.A.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, BCASH S.A. does not apply any energy consumption offsetting methodology for the purposes of this disclosure.

7. Data Limitations

This disclosure should be read subject to the following limitations:

  • the relevant blockchain networks are decentralised and global in scope,
  • BCASH S.A. does not control the infrastructure used to validate, process or record transactions on those networks,
  • environmental and climate metrics may vary depending on the methodology, reference period, technical protocol changes, the composition of validators or miners, and assumptions regarding energy sourcing,
  • certain values may constitute external estimates derived from publicly available data rather than directly measured figures,
  • and comparability between different crypto-assets may be affected by differences in disclosure quality, methodological choices and data availability.

8. Review and Update

This disclosure is reviewed on a regular basis and at least annually.

It is also updated without undue delay when material changes occur, in particular:

  • when BCASH S.A. adds or removes supported crypto-assets falling within its scope,,
  • when material changes occur to the relevant consensus mechanisms,
  • when new or improved external data becomes available,
  • or when regulatory or technical requirements change.

Each material update is accompanied by a clear indication of the relevant changes.

Note S.9 – Energy consumption sources and methodologies

The data are based on publicly available MiCA disclosures and external data sources compiled using the CCRI methodology. All indicators are based on estimates and related assumptions. A description of the methodology, external datasets and key assumptions is available in the CCRI MiCA Methods 2024 and the CCRI MiCA methodology documentation. BCASH does not take into account, for the purposes of this disclosure, any energy consumption offsetting or other market-based offsetting mechanism.

Note S.15 – Key energy sources and methodologies

The supplementary energy indicators are based on the same external data sources and CCRI methodology used for the mandatory indicator S.8. The relevant indicators are estimates that depend on data availability, network technical assumptions and the methodological choices of the respective data provider.

Note S.16 – Key GHG sources and methodologies

The supplementary greenhouse gas emissions indicators are based on the same external data sources and CCRI methodology. The relevant values are estimates and are influenced by assumptions regarding energy consumption, the energy mix, network structure and the availability of public data for the relevant crypto-asset or underlying network.
