Paradigm Launches a $2.5 Billion VC for Crypto Startups

Paradigm launched a new venture capital fund worth of $2.5 billion to fund the new generation of crypto startups and new protocols in the space. The size of the fund shows the growth in the crypto space as the initial design for the fund was to raise around $1 billion for the same reason.

The interest from institutional investors to trust the crypto space as Paradigm’s founders were previous members of Coinbase and Sequoia Capital, showing the needed experience for a case like that.

A couple of months ago, VC Andreessen Horowitz raised another fund worth of $2.2 billion, especially for crypto startups. The amount of available capital shows that the maturity of the ecosystem is evolving and its progress will be exploded in the next years.
