Lots of Liquidation, Bitcoin Close to $60,000
Over the course of the week, Bitcoin seems to be under new pressure in the market as there has been a lot of liquidation, especially on crypto exchanges like Bybit.
The price of Bitcoin fell around $60,000, while Ethereum seems to be in a similar mood, with a slight drop to $2,500.
The futures market indicates that liquidations are between $85 million and $95 million and are expected to continue in the coming weeks.
Such dips are great opportunities for day trading investors as dips are more due to leveraged positions than strategic decisions.
Despite these falls, Bitcoin is up 41% year-to-date while Ethereum has managed a more conservative 10% since January.
