After Cyprus, Lithuania Prepares Independent Regulation for Cryptos
Cyprus is the first example in the EU that will issue its regulation for cyrptos. Its goal is to catch EU and ECB, before issuing their regulatory framework, when sometimes is stronger than national regulations.
In a similar phase, Lithuania is trying to set up a similar regulatory trial before the European one.
As we have seen in previous articles, MiCA (Markets in Crypto Assets) won’t be implemented until 2025. Lithuania and Cyprus will try to establish a friendly environment for crypto companies that will decide to start its activity there.
The multiple advantages from the regulation will pass in the economy of there is a way to promote freedom for cryptos, according to their nature.
