CME Launches Futures Contracts for Ethereum

CME is one of the largest exchanges worldwide and every decision has impact on every market and any asset that could be traded in it. At last May, CME launched futures contracts for Bitcoin, making more and more institutional investors to invest in it, as 100,000 contracts had been traded during its first week.

From 6 December, CME will offer the same product (futures contracts) for Ethereum also, attracting more institutional investors in the game. Ethereum set a new all-time high level at $4,500, giving more boost in the market.

The specific product will allow investors to hedge any position in the Ethereum market while they could calculate more easily any potential variations for the price development. In the next month, we will observe any impact in the Ethereum price….
