Checkout.com Enters Libra Alliance

Checkout is a startup focused on online cross-border payments while it had raised multi-million funding from different investors (Insight Partners, Blossom Capital, Singapore’s Sovereign Fund) from the USA and Asia.

According to the company’s announcement, the addition was made for the merchants’ good that uses the service regarding payment easing and increases in operational efficiency.

In addition, Libra’s ultimate goal for more democracy and development in underbanked countries and areas is in harmony with Checkout, which wants to help in this direction.

Libra Association, even if it started with 28 members, has many eliminations due to its conflict with regulators around the world. Over the last months, it has added some important new members and revised its original white paper regarding regulatory issues and vision.
