Argentina's President Accused of Crypto Fraud?
Donald Trump may have launched his own crypto and made a few billion dollars in a few days, but the same rules don't apply to everyone.
The president of Argentina, Javier Milei, posted a tweet on X regarding LIBRA, another crypto, where he wrote rave comments about it and the use it can have for citizens and small and medium-sized businesses.
This particular tweet brought a very big rise in the coin, but its deletion, a few hours later, brought a collapse in the price and a few million disappeared from the market in the blink of an eye.
This obviously brought legal consequences for Milei, who is facing charges of manipulation of financial products.
These charges are expected to be examined by the country's courts and it will be decided whether there should be punishment or not……
