The FBI Made Its Own Crypto
The FBI authorities have created and promoted their own token, with the aim of catching fraudulent individuals in the space.
The FBI released this particular coin, named NexFundAI, as bait for potential fraudsters and was able to track down who they were and what other scams they have been involved in through the transactions on their own network.
This operation led to 18 arrests and the seizure of crypto tokens with a current value of $25 million.
This shows that authorities around the world see cryptos as another criminal window and want to find a way to deal with it. Accusations of money laundering and the financing of criminal organizations seem to have substance but still do not compare to the numbers in cash/
So there is still a lot of work to be done……….
