Thoma Bravo, a company specializing in company acquisitions and investments, announced through its founder Orlando Bravo, that it will not invest in cryptos again.

 

The company had invested a significant amount in the FTX exchange and apparently, it is still waiting for its liquidation to get its money back.

 

"If you make a mistake and get burned badly by it, our philosophy is to never touch it again," Bravo said.

 

The company may have specialized in acquiring software companies, where it came in as a strategic investor and helped them grow, but the investment in FTX was more a product of FOMO than a strategic investment.

 

And as it turns out, FOMO is never a good advisor for any investment, whether we are small investors or a large investment firm….
