Ethereum ETFs have arrived!!!
The Securities and Exchange Commission in the US has approved the first Ethereum Spot ETFs, making history after the approval of the first Bitcoin Spot ETFs at the beginning of the year.
In total, 9 Ethereum ETFs were approved, the largest being that of Grayscale, amounting to $9.3 billion, which previously existed in another form, while new ones were created respectively by BlackRock and by Fidelity Investments.
At the moment, Ethereum's market cap is close to $415 billion and with the announcement of the approval, the price took a bite of more than 1%, adding to the impressive 47% it has climbed since the beginning of the year.
The price is playing close to $3,500 so we expect to see other movements in the next few days, for correction or for speculation.
Either way, this development brings cryptos one step closer to the investment community and eventual recognition…
