New Stablecoin from Circle

The new legislation of the European Union for cryptos, under MiCA has brought new data to the market.

 

So Circle got the license to issue electronic money from France, with the aim of issuing a stablecoin through the exchange.

 

This is the first company to enter the MiCA licenses and more companies are expected to enter this process.

 

This is the second attempt that Coinbase has made along with Circle as in 2018 they released USDC, which is currently number 2 stablecoin in capitalization with about $32 billion.

 

The first, Tether, still holds the top spot at $112 billion and that's not going to change anytime soon.
