Solana Launches Second Smartphone
Solana Mobile is expected to launch a second smartphone in the market, after the unexpected success of the first smartphone, Saga.
The first smartphone, called Saga, was an interesting case as it included a crypto wallet, a customized Android OS and a “dApp Store”, that made available several decentralized applications.
The initial price was around $1,000 but it plummeted afterwards as the sales were reducing. The event that skyrocketed the sales and seems to be the trigger for the second smartphone is the existence of the NFT BONK in the embedded wallet.
Now, a sealed Saga is sold for $3,200 in Ebay, showing the market trend for the product.
The new smartphone is expected to have a lower initial price, under the same philosophy with the first product.
