Coinbase Enters the EU Derivative Market

Coinbase prepares for another big step in the European market, as it will open even more its product spectrum in the crypto market.

This will happen through a new acquisition of a holding company based in Europe, which owns a Mifid II license. Through this specific license, Coinbase will offer services in derivatives and spot trading, which is already offered to European clients.

The derivatives is a main strategic pillar for Coinbase as at global level, derivatives account for 75 % of total revenue for any platform regarding cryptos.

From now on, the rankings between crypto exchanges will be done based on new products that will comply with the regulation and their position in the political scenery.

We wait for the new developments in 2024………
