New Crypto Move in Hong Kong
The British bank Standard Chartered has a lot of influence in the Asian market and continues to grow during the last years. The new initiative is Zodia Custody, which is specialized in crypto custody for large, institutional wallets.
The company was founded in 2020 and is expected to open a branch in Hong Kong. The same company has stated that the demand for crypto custody in Hong Kong has been derived from institutional investors and not from retail investors.
Hong Kong has placed enormous efforts to form a special regulation that will be friendly towards crypto companies and will attract them to create a larger ecosystem.
Zodia Custody is expected to be the 3rd company in Hong Kong that will have the official license after OSL Digital and Hash Blockchain.
