The Fight Between Ripple Labs and SEC is Going on

Before the market shock with FTX and the major turn of US SEC against Binance and Coinbase, there was another story that brought more headaches in the crypto community and was around the legal framework of cryptos.

The SEC had sued Ripple Labs since 2018 as it acknowledged that XRP tokens were securities worth of $1.3 billion, that should audited and be under control for more audits from authorities.

Ripple Labs had a long legal battle, that seems to be quite well based on the current evidence.

It seems that the lawsuit is going nowhere as there are not enough legal background that could be able to bring a sufficient result for any of the parties at satisfactory level.

Maybe the attention of SEC towards the crypto sector might give enough space to different players to take more actions to defend themselves.
