European Commission Against Cryptos

The Consumer Group BEUC (with members in Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Slovakia and Spain) complained in European Commission regarding fake advertisements about cryptos in Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok and Twitter platforms.

It’ s well know than Google’s search engine had banned crypto-related advertisements, but many other platforms have enough content around them.

The consumers’ concerns had focused mostly around recent developments regarding Binance and Coinbase, with their problems from US SEC.

Maybe those complaints will taken into consideration that will be included in MiCa and how the regulation around cryptos will be formulated.

The framework will be tightened more and more but crypto are going to make a move from the West to East.
