Russia and Turkey Partner to Fight Crypto Crimes

FTX’s bankruptcy might be the headline of the recent days but more interesting news are coming up in the institutional framework for cryptos.

One of the recent news is the agreement between Russia and Turkey for fight against crimes that involve cryptocurrency use.

The two countries have come closer after Russia’s invasion to Ukraine as Turkey has develop economic and diplomatic relations with it, making it more easy in the global trade scene.

Russia has made thoughts regarding using cryptos for evading sanctions implemented from the EU but this cannot happen from one day to another.

Indeed, the president Erdogan suggested to the Russian representative to create a similar payment network to avoid the sanctions, that could be implemented in blockchain technology.
