Can Russia Overcome Sanctions Through Cryptos ?

European Union put a lot of sanctions in Russia, after its invasion in Ukraine, aiming to make it withdraw its troops from there. Many of those sanctions are focused in the financial sector and the payments world.

Russia can (?) use crypto networks to avoid those sanctions and transfer money through them to pay for any good.

The relationship between EU and Russia in the energy sector is the catalyst for this situation. Will countries need to convert their money to cryptos to pay for their natural gas ?

Russia has already soften its stance against cryptos, giving the “green light”, along the Central Bank for cross-border payments in cryptos, but the willingness sooner or later to legalize the crypto payments.

The reality will only tell the truth….
