How Many Digital Euros Are for Us ?

Fabio Panetta is the man that informs about what it’s going to happen regarding Digital Euro. After the ECB announcements for the total circulation of Digital Euro, there were some conclusions from him.

The total circulation for Digital Euro will be 1.5 trillion €, meaning that every Eurozone citizen will have only 3,000 to 4,000 € for him. For this reason, as we told in previous article, Digital Euro is expected to operate complimentary with the traditional Euro.

The main reason behind this step is the loss of deposits from commercial banks, a fact that will create instabilities in the banking system in Europe.

Also, holding large amounts of digital euros won’t be lucrative enough to provide more mobility in the system and better distribution in the market.
