The Advisory Group for the Digital Euro

The Digital Euro is the biggest project, that European Central Bank is running in the blockchain sector, with huge potential for the short-term future.

In this phase, ECB decided to set an advisory group for the design and implementation of the project in the highest level and its future adoption from a wide range of consumers and businesses.

As the ECB has announced, the Digital Euro is already in the design phase from Nexi while its development is expected to begin in 2 years from now. As it goes, this is a long-term project which will receive more attention in the future.
