Marvel Enters the NFTs’ space

Another company in the media sector, Marvel Entertainment, subsidiary of Walt Disney Company, announced that it will enter the NFTs’ space dynamically, creating digital collectible items and collectible comic books, based on blockchain technology.

The series with the collectible items will become a reality in partnership with Veve Digital Collectibles App, including already collectible items from other brands.

The terms of “collectability” and “uniqueness” is exceptionally strong in the comic books’ sector, as many collectors are searching for specific magazines or pieces with references or elements that make them unique. Marvel, wanting to open a new communication and monetization channel, can provide all of the above items in digital form, creating another subsector in its business model.
