Bitfinex Removes 50 Trading Pairs from its Platform

Bitfinex, one of the largest crypto exchanges, decides to remove 46 trading pairs from its platform due to low transaction volume and liquidity.

The exchange, in its announcement, declared this was a normal move from crypto exchanges that want to offer a better trading environment for their users and customers.

Most of the pairs include Ethereum (ETH) with the most known to be OKEx Coin (OKB), Verge (XVG) and Nucleus Vision (NCASH). Along with them, 30 more pairs will stop trading activity on 6th March.

Regarding Bitcoin pairs, there will be a stop at 16 of them with the most known to be Hydro Protocol (HOT) and Medicalchain (MNT). In parallel, 2 pairs with DAI will stop also: OmiseGO (OMG) and 0x (ZRX).

The users are kindly requested to remove any balances on the cryptocurrencies that will be removed from the exchange.
