Twitter Adds Crypto Charts in Search Results

Twitter brings another change in the crypto sector. Now, in the results section, price charts appear for crypto and other financial products.

This can be done with the special character “$” in front of the ticker that we want to search for. For example, if we want to search charts for Bitcoin, we should type “$BTC”.

This is one of the changes that Elon Musk is bringing to Twitter, closing the eye to Twitter’s financial use. According to him, many algo trading systems for cryptos use Twitter as a big data base that allow them to predict next moves in their prices.

At this moment, only Bitcoin and Ethereum are available.

Maybe because institutional investors are active in them, so they would pay for such a service.
