FIFA Issues NFTs for World Cup

FIFA, as World Cup is approaching that will take place in Qatar, is expected to release NFTs with creatives from previous World Cups and the best highlights from this year’s.

FIFA chose the Algorand platform to issue FIFA+ Collect, that will give the chance to fans to buy digital collectibles from their favorite footballers.

The app will be available to English, French and Spanish while it’s expected to be released just before the World Cup start.

As it seems, every sport or artistic event in the world will be accompanied from the digital equivalent, giving the opportunity to fans to acquire digital collectibles from their favorite idols.
