105 Countries Want to Adopt CBDCs

In the entire world, 105 countries have started or initiated the process to adopt a CBDC, showing that there is a strong interest for the next period in the digital payments.

Those countries represent 95 % of global GDP, showing that the world is ready for a massive change. Indeed, 50 of them are in more advanced stage, meaning that they have developed, pilot or launch a CBDC in the market.

China seems to be ahead of all countries as many counties are already using the digital yuan. Second in progress is India, with digital rupee.
