Fidelity Launches 401k Programs in Bitcoin

The private pension programs in USA are the rule for every employee, who chooses his plan for his pension, along with his employer.

This is known as 401k. All the major investment firms have those products, with corresponding risk and return profiling, according to every employee. Fidelity gave the opportunity for every employee to invest a part of their savings for his 401k in Bitcoin, always upon agreement with the employer that pays.

In a 401k program, Bitcoin won’t surpass 20 % of the total portfolio while the fees will be on the same levels with other programs.

Of course, the first company that runs to adopt this program for its employees was Microstrategy, the largest institutional investor in Bitcoin.

More companies will follow for sure…..
