Intel Builds the New Generation of Miners

Intel is the largest chip manufacturer in the world and its move in the crypto mining industry has been an important mark in the space. Its proposition came to contribute in the development of blockchain technology through energy efficient miners.

The new miners that will be launched from Intel will be 1,000 times more efficient per watt, comparing to current miners, which are GPUs or based on SHA-256. The products will be available in 2022 while the first clients that will receive the new miners are Block (former Square from Jack Dorsey), Argo Blockchain and Griid.

Intel has created new operating teams around the topic and the mining market is getting more and more upgrades, giving more value to miners and the entire network.
