Armenia Ready to Regulate Cryptos

Central Bank of Armenia has started to make its presence stronger regarding the regulatory framework around cryptocurrencies.

The concerns around shadowy transactions have risen over the last period in Armenia and many other countries, pushing the local authorities to suspect tax evasion and money laundering through cryptos.

Armenia belongs along other countries like Russia to Eurasian Economic Union, which tried last year to implement a common regulation around cryptos but failed.

Until then, we don’t expect any friendly stand towards cryptos from Armenia, that will follow countries and economies for this direction.
